QMU moved to Musselburgh in 2007 & brought with it a population of around 5000 staff & students. It was estimated that these new residents would spend approximately £10.9 million in the local economy. However, the majority of these people do not come from the area. How will they know what the town has to offer? I’ve created a blog in order to show people what is available in Musselburgh & why it may be worth their while to pop into the town when they’re at QMU!

What about more things to do in your free time - Beach, parks and all the other things that we just don't know about yet?!
I've heard the phrase: "famous Lucas ice cream" a lot... Where in Musselburgh can you get them? And what's all the fuss about?
Thanks for your comment Sindy!
I've added a section on Musselburgh's famous ice-cream now - and a poll on whether Lucas or Di Rollos is best - Lucas is winning so get down and try some of their ice-cream!
